CPI announces candidate list for Assembly Elections; Binoy Viswam releases names

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala is currently in the heat of election season. Voting for all 140 constituencies will take place in a single phase on April 9, with the counting of votes scheduled for May 4. The state has 2.70 crore registered voters, including 4.24 lakh first-time voters. The Election Commission confirmed it has held detailed consultations with political parties and is taking all necessary steps to ensure a transparent electoral process.
