IMD predicts heavy rains in Kerala, two districts on orange alert
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed a possibility of rain in Kerala for the next five days. An orange alert has been issued in various districts. Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam are on orange alert today. The possibility of very heavy rainfall has been predicted in isolated places. Very heavy rainfall is defined as a situation where 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm of rain is expected in 24 hours.
