M G Rajamanickam likely to be private secretary to Chief Minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Supplyco Chairman and IAS officer M.G. Rajamanickam is likely to be appointed as the private secretary to Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan.

Rajamanickam’s work as Ernakulam Collector had attracted attention and even impressed VD Satheesan. Rajamanickam, a native of Tamil Nadu, is a 2008 batch Kerala cadre IAS officer. He is currently the secretary of the revenue and disaster management departments. All the employees who were in the office when V.D. Satheesan was the leader of the opposition will continue in the Chief Minister's office. The move is to appoint the principal secretary and others on the day Satheesan takes oath as the Chief Minister.
