Nazriya and Naslen in team; 'Suriya 47' gets hyped up, pooja ceremony held

Actor Suriya’s 47th movie will be directed by Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan. The news has been confirmed after Jithu’s wife, Shifina, revealed the photos from the pooja ceremony on Instagram. Putting on the hype, the ensemble cast for the movie includes names such as Nazriya Nazim, Naslen, John Vijay and Anandraj. The Pooja ceremony was held in Chennai.

Jithu has retained his old technicians with music helmed by Sushin Shyam, while Vineeth Unni Palode will be behind the camera, production design by Ashwini Kale, and editing by Ajmal Sabu.

Debutant Unni Palode has previously assisted top-rated Malayalam cinematographers, including Shyju Khalid, Sameer Thahir, and Gireesh Gangadharan.

As per reports, the movie will feature Suriya in yet another police role; not expected to be a run-of-the-mill cop story. The confirmation of Suriuya and Nazriya's collaboration and Malayalam young star Naslen’s inclusion has accentuated the hype and curiosity among people.

Nazriya last appeared in Sookshmadarshini, which was well-received in Kerala.
