Telugu actor Balayya pushes Anjali on stage at promotional event, video sparks outrage

Nandamuri Balakrishna aka Balayya has landed in a controversy after a video of him pushing actor Anjali at the 'Gangs of Godavari' movie event went viral.

Balakrishna was the chief guest at the promotional event of the movie. As the Telugu superstar took centre stage to take photos with the crew, he pushed aside Anjali, much to the shock of actress Neha Shetty who was present alongside her. Though Anjali laughed it off, there was widespread outrage on social media after the video went viral.

"It is unacceptable to treat a talented actress like this," a netizen commented. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta called Balayya a 'scumbag' as he shared the video on his X accout. Anjali and Balakrishna have not yet officially responded to the incident.
