‘Objectives accomplished'; Offensive action against Iran over, says US Secretary of State 

WASHINGTON: The United States has ended its military offensive against Iran, known as 'Operation Epic Fury'. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the focus is now on defensive measures, including opening the Strait of Hormuz. However, the United States has not declared the war over.

‘There is no more US aggression in the war against Iran. Operation Epic Fury has ended. Objectives have been achieved. The United States has entered the defensive phase. However, if Iran takes further military action against the United States, it will retaliate. The main objective now is to open the Strait of Hormuz. Iran should accept US' peace proposals and open Hormuz,' demanded Marco Rubio.
