NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court's order on the plea filed by actor Mohanlal alleging that his images, visuals, and voice are being misused. The court ordered to remove the links submitted by the actor. Justice Jyoti Singh considered the plea and passed the order. The court also directed that a report related to the removal of links be submitted by 4:30 pm.

M F Philip, Srihari Indu Kaladharan and Smita Damodaran Nair appeared for the actor. They had submitted several social media links related to Mohanlal's plea to the Delhi High Court. The court had earlier directed the lawyer to compile the links and file a separate application.

Mohanlal had filed the plea seeking protection of his rights as an individual and removal of content on social media that affected him. The plea had made digital platforms including Meta as the opposing parties. Meantime, Meta had opposed the plea. Meta argued that Mohanlal is a person from Kerala and is not a matter falling under the jurisdiction of the Delhi High Court. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and others had earlier approached the Delhi High Court on a similar issue and obtained a favorable verdict.
