WASHINGTON DC: Reports suggest that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is currently hiding in a secret location following major military operations carried out jointly by the United States and Israel. The development comes at a crucial stage in the ongoing nuclear negotiations involving Iran. According to media reports, Khamenei is communicating even with his own government only through intermediaries.

Media reports also claim that even senior Iranian officials are unable to contact Khamenei directly. Analysts believe that uncertainty within Iran's leadership is one of the main reasons behind delays in finalising the nuclear agreement between Iran and the United States.

Reports say that when the United States sends details related to the agreement, it takes several days for the information to reach Khamenei and for a response to come back. There were also reports that Khamenei was injured during the joint US-Israeli airstrike operation named “Operation Epic Fury.” He has not appeared in public or released any official statements since the conflict began.

Despite the confusion surrounding the situation, reports indicate that Khamenei has not raised objections to the conditions of the proposed peace agreement. Recently, US President Donald Trump said on social media that he expects the final agreement to be signed within the coming days.
