Music legend Quincy Jones, producer of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller', dies

LOS ANGELES: Western music legend Quincy Jones passed away on Monday. He was 91. Jones was a noted composer, producer and lyricist. He played a crucial role in making Michael Jackson world famous.
Jackson's world-famous albums ‘Thriller’, ‘Bad’, and ‘Off the Wall’ were produced by Jones. In his 71 years of musical career, Quincy Jones bagged 28 Grammy awards. He won six Grammy Awards for the album 'Back on the Block' in 1991 and was the producer of the year for three years. He also starred in the Oscar-winning ‘In the Heat of the Night’.
Quincy also released his autobiography under the name Q. He was married three times and has seven children.
