Festive season bonanza: Air India Express slashes fares by 50% for Indian expats in UAE
DUBAI: Air India Express has launched a major promotional campaign, offering up to 50 percent off domestic and international flights. Dubbed the 'Express Sale,' the initiative presents a cost-effective opportunity for UAE residents and expatriates planning travel to India and other regional destinations over the coming months.
According to the airline, the discounted fares apply to travel scheduled between June 15 and October 10. To avail of the promotion, passengers must book their tickets during the designated sale window, which runs from May 27 to May 31. The offer is limited to the first five million bookings and includes the airline’s budget-friendly, hand-baggage-only fares.
Passengers who book directly through the airline’s official website or mobile application will benefit from a full waiver of the standard convenience fee.
The airline is also rolling out tiered perks for loyalty members and specific traveller demographics:
- Tata NeuPass Members: Eligible for up to a 20 percent discount on Business Class fares, alongside priority services, complimentary in-flight meals, and additional baggage allowances.
- Add-On Discounts: Travellers can secure up to a 30 percent discount on pre-booked meals and other optional add-on services.
- Concessionary Fares: Special discounted rates and benefits are being extended to students, senior citizens, retired armed forces personnel, and their dependents.
The limited-time sale comes as a timely relief for UAE-based expatriates looking to book travel ahead of the upcoming summer and autumn holiday seasons.
