'You will be killed soon'; CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke receives death threat

NEW DELHI: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the satirical political outfit sensation Cockroach Janta Party, received death threats. Dipke himself shared the threat messages against him on social media. The threat states that Dipke would be killed if the account is not deleted. Abhijeet's parents have also come forward expressing concern over the incident.

From the threat message Dipke shared:

“Close the social media accounts of the Cockroach Janta Party. You will get money if you join the BJP. Or else you will be killed in America.”

After forming the party, Abhijeet says that he has been receiving constant threatening messages through phone and social media. Abhijeet, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, is currently a student at Boston University.

Meanwhile, the Intelligence Bureau informed the central government that satirical accounts started in the name of the Cockroach Janata Party pose a threat to national security. The BJP also responded by saying that democracy cannot be destroyed through chaos.
