KOCHI: Rapper Vedan is likely to land in trouble in the tiger tooth case. An examination conducted at the Zoology Lab in Kolkata confirmed that the tiger tooth seized was a real one. The forest department will soon file a chargesheet in the case.
A case had been registered against the rapper earlier on charges of illegal possession of tiger tooth and animal hunting. The forest department had charged the rapper with both bailable and non-bailable charges in the case. However, his statement was that the pendant with the tiger tooth was presented to him by a fan in Tamil Nadu. He initially said that he had bought it from Thailand. He later retracted his statement.
