Caught on camera: Drunk woman’s road rage drama ends in Police case

KOTTAYAM: The Chingavanam police have registered a case against a woman for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a public disturbance. The accused has been identified as Jomy Joseph, a native of Ithithanam.

The incident occurred yesterday morning in Chingavanam, Kottayam, when the car driven by the woman collided with a scooter. Following the minor accident, local residents gathered at the spot to question her.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman, who was visibly intoxicated, escalated the situation by turning aggressive and physically assaulting some of the bystanders.

The police intervened after the altercation broke out. Meanwhile, mobile footage of the incident captured by onlookers has surfaced and is currently circulating widely on social media platforms. Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
