Fiancé dies in bike accident; Upset woman of Kasargod ends life

KASARGOD: A woman committed suicide after she was upset on her fiancé’s death following a bike accident. The dead is Prafulla, daughter of B Jayanandan of Kumbala. She was found hanging from the fan in the hall of the house.

Her marriage was fixed with Mani of Tamil Nadu four months ago. He met with an accident a month ago. He died the other day while undergoing treatment. Prafulla was upset after the incident. She took the drastic step when her family went to attend a marriage function.

The police have recovered her suicide note. She has asked to cremate her in the same place where Mani was laid to rest. After the inquest proceedings, the body will be shifted to the hospital for postmortem. A decision has not been taken on whether she will be cremated in Mani’s house in Tamil Nadu.
