His FB post
Dear friends, I had reached Thiruvananthapuram two days ago to attend the swearing-in function of the UDF government, which is coming to power with new hope for Kerala. However, due to a minor accident in Thiruvananthapuram the other day, I am presently on bed rest at my flat in Thiruvananthapuram. I had a great desire to see the new government assuming charge.
In the present situation, the only way to watch the function is through the media. I wish all the best to the new government, the chief minister and the ministers. I hope that this government will be able to stand with the problems of the people of Kerala and function accordingly.
