Newlywed bride found dead at husband's house in Kannur

KANNUR: A newlywed woman was found dead in the bedroom of her husband’s house in Taliparamba, Kannur. The deceased has been identified as Sandra Thara, the wife of Karimbam native Akash Mohan. The couple got married four months ago.

Sandra was found hanging from the window grill in the bedroom at around 5.30 pm on Thursday. Although she was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, doctors could not save her life. After the inquest proceedings, the body was shifted to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital for further procedures. The reason behind the suspected suicide is not yet clear. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
