CPM local secretary lands in controversy after sending obscene message to party's WhatsApp group

KASARAGOD: Controversy erupted after obscene messages were sent to a party WhatsApp group from CPM local secretary's number. The said leader is Raghavan Velutholi, CPM's local secretary in Kasaragod's Pakkam.
Three days ago, Raghavan's message came in the WhatsApp group. He is also an accused in the Periya double murder case. As per sources, the message was sent while he was going to Kochi for the trial of the case. It is said that the message was intended for someone else but reached the party group by mistake.
Raghavan said that he intended to send the message to his wife but instead it was forwarded to the group. However, there are calls for action against Raghavan who sent obscene messages to the group which has women members.
