IT department records Mohanlal's statement, seeks explanation on financial transactions with Antony Perumbavoor

KOCHI: The Income Tax Department has recorded the statement of actor Mohanlal in connection with a raid conducted two months ago. The officials came to the flat in Kundannur to record the statement.

IT sources said that officials sought clarification from Mohanlal on some financial matters. Details of his foreign assets and financial transactions have been sought. Antony Perumbavoor's statement was recorded earlier. Financial transactions with Mohanlal were also included in this. An explanation has also been sought from Mohanlal in this regard. As per reports, the statement was recorded for four and a half hours.
