Police officer goes missing in Kottayam; severe work pressure is the reason, alleges colleagues

KOTTAYAM: A police officer had reportedly gone missing in the state from today morning. The person missing is civil police officer Basheer of Kottayam East police station. His phone and other belongings were found abandoned in the quarters.

The colleagues said that Basheer was depressed due to excessive workload and work pressure. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
