Fugitive godman Nithyananda invites people for free e-citizenship in ‘United States of Kailasa’

GENEVA: The self-acclaimed godman and rape-accused Nithyananda is now inviting people to apply for citizenship of ‘Kailasa’, the nation which he claimed to have founded. Nithyananda claims that ‘United States of Kailasa’ is the first Hindu nation. The announcement for the distribution of citizenship was made through Twitter.

The tweet also says that you can apply for e-citizenship through the website https://kailaasa.org/e-citizen/. This has been stated in an account named KAILASA’s SPH Nithyananda.

E-Citizenship is an initiative from the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism and the Government of the United States of KAILASA, designed to make KAILASA and KAILASA Services available to the world.The initiative is open to all practicing and aspiring Hindus from all over the world.The E-Citizenship card will entitle the holder to a host of services and benefits, states the website.

Nithyananda is again in the news after Kailasa representatives participated in the UN’s CESCR (Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights) public discussion on sustainable development and another discussion for women's rights held in Geneva on February 24. Kailasa team participated in the program as an NGO. Nithyananda himself released pictures of his representatives attending the meeting on Twitter.
