Spy pigeon caught with camera and microchip on legs in Odisha

ODISHA: A spy pigeon was caught in Odisha with a camera and a microchip attached to its legs. The pigeon was caught from a fishing boat off the Paradip coast of Odisha's Jagatsinghpur. The police suspect that the bird was being used for spying.

The fishermen on suspicion caught the pigeon and handed it over to the police. In an examination by the police, something was written in an unfamiliar language on the wings of the pigeon. This also fueled suspicion. Experts help will be sought to understand this. Officials said that only after a detailed examination of the pigeon anything can be said.
