Malayali expat falls to death while hiking Fossil Rock in Sharjah

ABU DHABI: A Malayali expatriate died in an accident while climbing a mountain in Sharjah. The deceased has been identified as Binoy (51), a native of Alappuzha Beach Road Convent Square. The accident occurred while hiking with friends at Fossil Rock in Sharjah's Maleha. After slipping, Binoy's head hit a rock which caused the death.

Binoy was serving as an IT department officer at Abu Dhabi Al-Hilal Bank. The body was shifted to Sharjah Dhaid Hospital. His wife is Megha, a teacher at Our Own Indian School, Al Koos, Dubai. The children are Daniel and David.
