One dies after wild boar jumps in front of autorickshaw

PALAKKAD: A man died after an autorickshaw overturned when a wild boar jumped in front of it. The accident happened at 9.30 pm near Ayakkad school in Vadakancherry in Palakkad. The auto lost control after hitting the boar and overturned.
The auto driver Abdul Hakim died in the accident. Vasanthi, a native of Kollangodu, 15-year-old Adarsh Raj and 10-year-old Aadidev, the sons of Vasanthi's brother Haridas, who were passengers in the auto, were injured.
