THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State President K Surendran said that the Chief Minister did not file a case against the allegations leveled by Swapna Suresh because there was substance in the allegations. Surendran also asked why MV Govindan, who had announced that he would file a case against Swapna, could not file one with the help of Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister is the head of the government of Kerala. Sapna has made serious allegations against him of involvement in the international gold smuggling case. Pinarayi Vijayan is obliged to give an explanation to the people in this regard. If the Chief Minister does not take legal action for several allegations like dollar smuggling, people will have to think that he has done something wrong. It has to be seen if Kadakampally and Sri Ramakrishnan, who surrendered themselves when Swapna revealed some things, will be ready to file a case. Surendran also demanded that if MV Govindan has the courage to file a case with the help of Chief Minister.
