Woman’s decomposed body found in plastic bag; 22-year-old daughter in custody

MUMBAI: A 53-year-old woman's daughter was taken into custody after her body was found inside a plastic bag. The incident took place in Lal Bagh, Mumbai. The police said that the 22-year-old woman was taken into custody for questioning. DCP Praveen Munde said that the woman's body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation into the incident is in progress.

The body of a woman was found in a drum at Bengaluru railway station yesteday. The decomposed body was found when the police officers reached the spot and examined the drum. A woman's body was also found at the Yeshwantpur railway station on January 4. Another woman's body was found in a similar manner on December 6, 2022. The police have concluded that a serial killer is behind these murders.
