Property mutation on day of registration of sale deed to be implemented across 15 village offices from April

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The system to do property mutation on the same day of registration of sale deed will be launched next month in 15 village offices and associated sub-registrar offices. Kerala is the first state to implement this scheme in collaboration with the registration-revenue departments. Two village offices in Thiruvananthapuram district and one each in other districts will be connected with registrar offices. 315 sub-registrar offices and 1666 village offices in the state will be amalgamated by rectifying the operational deficiencies in these centres.

Veyiloor, Ottoor (Thiruvananthapuram), Mangadu (Kollam), Kadakkarapalli (Alappuzha), Omallur (Pathanamthitta), Udayapuram (Kottayam), Irattayar (Idukki), Kanayannoor (Ernakulam), Alappad (Thrissur), Thirumittakode (Palakkad), Ponmundam (Malappuram) ), Thikkodi (Kozhikode), Valadu (Wayanad), Azheekode (Kannur) and Ujarulwar (Kasaragod).
