Centre hikes DA by four percent for central govt employees

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet has decided to increase the dearness allowance of central government employees and the welfare benefits of pensioners by four percent. 47.58 lakh employees and 69.76 lakh pensioners will benefit from this. It will be increased to 42 percent with a retrospective effect from January 1, 2023.
