Death threat: KK Rema lodges complaint with DGP
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: RMP leader and Vadakara MLA KK Rema has lodged a complaint to the DGP after she received a death threat on Wednesday. In a threatening letter sent under the name of 'Payyannur comrades', it has been said that they will implement a decision if Rema doesn't withdraw the complaint she filed in connection with the conflict in the Assembly by April 20. The letter was sent from Thaliparamba. The letter says that this is the last warning to Rema.
Rema has been in Thiruvananthapuram for two days as she had to go to the hospital for a check-up related to her injury. Earlier, the same Payyannur comrades had sent a threatening letter to Rema following a controversy related to MM Mani's speech insulting Rema in the Assembly. Although Rema had lodged a complaint with the DGP, no action was taken.
