THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI state executive in the capital turned into a bitter exchange of words between members who were all dismayed about the party losing its sheen. Mullakkara Retnakaran opened the talks by saying the national committee should work with vigor to help CPI grab back the national party recognition. “ The communist party of India holds a legacy. It is appalling to see the party losing its national status. The pain and apathy this brings to the common worker may be inexplicable. A fire should rise inside every cadre of the party to work tirelessly, to succeed.” Mullakkara opined.

However, no members seconded the leader's call for action which made many faces turn irate inside the meeting. Kanam Rajendran meanwhile backed off from an explanation regarding the EC decision, which was unusual from the leader.

The meeting decided to conduct a Jadha across Kerala titled “Save India” starting from Thiruvananthapuram. AIYF state secretary T Jismon will start the Jadha from the capital city. The move will be made to expose the incompetence and the falling governance in India under Modi’s rule.
