K Muraleedharan’s driver, one-year-old son killed in accident

KOZHIKODE: A 24-year-old youth and his one-year-old son were killed in a car accident. The dead have been identified as Athul (24) of West Hill in Kozhikode and his one-year-old son Anvik. Athul's wife Maya and her mother Krishnaveni have been admitted to the hospital with injuries.

The accident happened on top of the Korapuzha bridge late last night. The bike in which they were travelling collided with a car. The accident happened when they were returning after attending a housewarming function in Koyilandy. The car was proceeding towards Vadakara. The police and the locals who reached the spot took the injured to the hospital.

Athul was taken to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital and his son to another private hospital, but both died. Athul was the driver of K Muraleedharan MP. Car passengers Sayanth and Sourav from Vakadara also sustained injuries. They have been admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
