KOZHIKODE: Son of Jolly, the prime accused in the Koodathayi murder case, has testified against his mother. Remo Roy, the son of Joliyamma Joseph alias Jolly, the first accused in the case, and the murdered Ponnamattam Roy Thomas, gave a statement before Judge SR Shyamlal of the Maradu Special Court, where the witness hearing is taking place. Jolly had confessed to him that he had killed Annamma by mixing insecticide in mutton soup and cyanide in food and water of five others. The cyanide was supplied by MS Mathew alias Shaji. Prajikumar handed over the cyanide to him.

Rojo, the second witness in the case and the brother of the murdered Roy Thomas, testified that Jolly had told everyone that she was an MCom graduate when she came home to Ponnamattam after marrying Roy Thomas. Rojo testified that when she returned from abroad when his father Tom Thomas died, Jolly's fake will and use of a fake document to do property mutation of the house and place in Ponnamattim made him suspicious and that's why he filed a complaint to investigate the six mysterious deaths. 163rd witness Nelson Varghese also testified. The cross-examination of the witnesses was adjourned to today. Special Public Prosecutor NK Unnikrishnan and Additional Special Prosecutor E Subhash appeared for the prosecution.
