Actress Manju Pathrose has given a fitting reply to a political leader who publicly said that he doesn't like sharing the stage with serial actors. The incident took place during a public function in Perumpilavu. The video of the incident has surfaced online.

"Earlier, a political leader said on this stage that he does not like serial stars and that he doesn't watch such programs. What I don't understand is why Sir does not like us...is it because of our acting or just because he doesn't watch serials. Whatever may be the reason, this is a professional field. Acting is a profession. None of you need to bow your heads out of shame when we enter the stage. It is not easy to get ahead in any field. Sir, you are a farmer. It would be good if you consider how you would feel if someone says that he doesn't like farming and doesn't want to share the stage with a farmer. That's all I have to say," Manju Pathrose said.

Meanwhile, serial actor Sajan Surya shared Manju Pathrose's' video and a note on Instagram.

'Congratulations to Manju Pathrose who gave a decent reply to a prominent political leader who made derogatory remarks about serial actresses and disparaged our professional field,' Sajan Surya wrote on his Instagram page.
