'Five Kerala Girls' Union conducted the camp, while the commanding officer Rohta Sharma who was in charge of the event should give a report within two days' time. The camp was conducted at Thiruvalla Marthomma College. Associate naval officer Prof. Rison Sam Raj was the college's NCC chief, and the college authority has asked for a similar report from the professor to explain the breach. Meanwhile, parents are moving ahead with complaints to the education minister as the camp put in danger their daughter's life.

Meanwhile, the accused girl's cadet instructor Devika’s husband is mending ways to stop the issue from ballooning into a bigger one.
