Migrant worker dies after mudslide in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: A migrant worker died in a landslide in Erattupetta. The deceased has been identified as Ratan, a native of West Bengal. The accident happened during the construction of a protective wall.

Last Wednesday, an elderly man died due to a mudslide while cleaning a well. The deceased Yohannan (72) of Kochuveedu in Kodukulanji's Perumkuzhi died after his feet got stuck between the rings of the well.

Yohannan and another person had come to clean an expatriate's house, surroundings and well.
