NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli, the most followed Indian sportsperson on the social media platform Instagram, earns Rs 11.45 crore for every sponsored post on the social media platform. 25 crore 60 lakh people follow Virat on Instagram alone. These are the figures for 2023 released by UK-based company Hopper HQ.
Virat Kohli is the third highest paid sportsperson in the world through sponsored posts on Instagram with only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi ahead of him. Ronaldo gets Rs 26.75 crore and Messi Rs 21.49 crore per post. Virat is ranked 14th in the list of global celebrities who earn the most from sponsored posts on Instagram.
