Suresh Gopi to give financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to each Pulikali group in addition to the Rs 1 lakh provided by government.

THRISSUR: Former MP and actor Suresh Gopi has given financial support to Pulikali Sangam. The funding was provided from the Lakshmi Trust in the name of her daughter. Suresh Gopi personally handed over 50,000 rupees to each Pulikali team.

Earlier, the central government had also granted financial assistance to the Pulikali groups. Suresh Gopi informed that he is paying Rs 50,000 in addition to the Rs 1 lakh provided by the government. Suresh Gopi said that as a person who loves Thrissur, he came to give the first draft in the context of deciding to pay the amount in his daughter's name along with the participation of the central government.
