VSSC Scam: Probe for central employees

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The investigation team has intensified its search to nab two employees of DRDO and an army clerk involved in the VSSC exam cheating case. The Kerala Police in Haryana conducted inspections at various places. It has also been suggested that the accused have made fake appointments in many posts in central government institutions.

The six arrested on the day of the examination and the four arrested from Haryana are in remand. Seven of them were taken into custody. One was remanded after taking evidence. Interrogation of six others is in progress. According to reports the accused charged Rs 8 lakh from a candidate. The police also found that the same SIM card was used to answer the questions in the exam. The finding proves the initial conclusion that the exam was administered by the same team.
