Mammootty announces 'Kannur Squad' worldwide release date  

Kannur Squad, in which Mammootty will once again play the role of a policeman, will hit the theatres worldwide on September 28. Mammootty himself shared this through social media along with the new poster of the film.The trailer of the film was released on his birthday.

Produced by Mammootty Company, Wayfarer Films and Truth Global Films, Kannur Squad is directed by debutant Robby Varghese Raj. Along with Mammootty, Azeez Nedumangad, Dhruvan, Ronnie David, Kishore Kumar, Vijaya Raghavan and Sreekumar are lined up in the film.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Mohammad Rahi. The screenplay is by Shafi and Ronnie David, with background music by Sushin Shyam. Lyrics are composed by Vinayak Sasikumar. Editing: Praveen Prabhakar. Supreme Sundar, Rajashekhar, Kanal Kannan, Jolly Bastian, Ran Ravi, PC Stunts and Robbie Varghese Raj directed the action scenes.
