‘We did not start this war, but will finish it,’ Netanyahu warns Hamas

TEL AVIV: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas that though Israel did not start this war but will finish it. ‘Israel is at war. We didn’t want this war. It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way. Will end this at the earliest,’ Netanyahu said while addressing the nation.

Meantime, Israel has announced that it will destroy Hamas and has launched efforts to capture Gaza. One lakh soldiers’ have reached the border. About 3.5 million soldiers are moving there.

America's largest battleship, the Gerald R Ford, with five thousand sailors and numerous warplanes and missiles, moved into the Mediterranean. Five other warships have arrived. 10 Americans killed in Hamas attacks prompted US intervention. Russia responded that it could not allow the intervention of a third party. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Gaza is under complete blockade, including electricity, food, drinking water, and fuel. Qatar has reportedly begun efforts to free the hostages. The move is to release the Palestinians imprisoned by Israel and release those imprisoned by Hamas. 270 bodies were recovered from the farmhouse which is on the Israeli border where the party was held.
