'Rahul didn't have any issues to commit suicide, he was very upset last night'

KOCHI: Close friends and relatives of renowned food vlogger Rahul N Kutty are finding it hard to believe that Rahul is no more. Rahul was found hanging at his residence in Madavana last night. Relatives and friends, who said that Rahul had no issues so as to commit suicide, added that he was seen very upset last night.

Although Rahul's friends had called him several times on the phone last night, he did not attend any calls. Following this, they went to Rahul's house in Madavana at around midnight and informed his father that Rahul was not picking up the calls. When the father went to the room, Rahul was seen hanging in his bedroom. Although he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

Rahul had recently started a coffee shop in partnership with some friends. Police have launched an investigation into the death. The police have taken Rahul's phone for examination. Rahul, who was an integral part of the 'Eat Kochi Eat' collective, has a large number of followers on social media. Rahul was active on social media even the other day. He had recently posted a video about Unniyappam from Ganapathy Temple in Edappally.
