Abduction of six-year-old girl: Girl saw more people in gang, accused stayed overnight in an empty big house

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More details have come out in the case in which a six-year-old girl was abducted by an unidentified gang in Oyoor. The girl told the police that on the day she was abducted, the gang took her to an empty big house which had roof tiles. According to the girl's statement, the accused forcefully lowered her head inside the car at many places on the way and covered her mouth several times when she cried.

The next day, the gang travelled with the child in a car and later in an autorickshaw. The girl revealed that she saw more people in the group than she first saw. She also said that she did not remember the faces of many of them. She also said that the woman who took her to the Ashramam Maidan left her there saying that her father will come to pick her up.

Meanwhile, police have summoned Reji, the father of the six-year-old girl, for interrogation in connection with the abduction case. It was Reji himself who said this to the media. Reji said that he will appear before the investigation team for questioning.
