'Don't make teachers shed tears in life'; teacher collapses and dies in front of her students during farewell meeting

CHALAKUDY: In a tragic incident, a teacher collapsed and died during the farewell ceremony of her students. The deceased has been identified as Angamaly native Ramya Jose (41), a Mathematics teacher at Koratty LFCHS School. She collapsed while speaking at the farewell ceremony of Plus Two students. Although she was rushed to a private hospital in Angamaly, she could not be saved. The incident took place at around 1 pm yesterday.

"The last thing I want to say is that you are the ones who should make decisions from now on. There will be no one to correct you.
You have to find out what is right and what is wrong. Don't make your parents and teachers shed tears in life," these were the last words spoken by Ramya during her speech.

Last year, Ramya had collapsed in a similar manner during the school's anniversary celebration. However, nothing abnormal was found during the tests conducted that day. Ramya has been a Plus Two Maths teacher at Koratty LFCG HS School for sixteen years.
