Actress Sowmya Janu assaults policeman for stopping her driving in wrong direction, visuals out

HYDERABAD: Telugu actress Sowmya Janu on Saturday assaulted a police officer who questioned her for violating traffic rules. The incident took place in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. Now, visuals of this incident have been released.

The actress happened to be driving in the wrong direction. Seeing this, the traffic police asked the car to stop. Following this, the actress got out of the car and assaulted the police. Seeing this, people gathered around and tried to pacify the actress but to no avail.

The actress had admitted that she was driving in the wrong direction. Sowmya told the traffic police that this happened because she was in a rush and had to go somewhere. The police officer has lodged a complaint of assault.
