Woman along with lover kills own baby, accused held in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A woman along with her lover killed her 11-month-old baby son. The incident happened at Tirur in Malappuram. The Tirur police have taken the accused identified as Sripriya of Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu, her lover Jayasurya (23) of Neyveli in Tamil Nadu and his father Kumar into custody. The police are grilling them.

The police believe that the murder was committed two months ago. The accused have not divulged on where the baby was abandoned.

The woman, who left her husband, reached Tirur three months ago. The incident came to light after one of her relatives saw her the other day. As the baby was not seen with her, he informed the police.

The police then summoned them. They told police that they killed the baby but the police have not believed it.
