THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Jayaprakash said that the current investigation into the suicide of JS Siddharth, a second-year student of Pookkode Veterinary College, is not satisfactory. He told the media that the police are under pressure from the party and he is concerned about the investigation.

The SFI leader's response that it was a mistake is an attempt to escape. Jayaprakash responded that the statement of ‘bowing down’ is by knowing that the public is against them. The case should be filed for murder and not for inciting suicide.

The former PTA president of the college Kunjamu spoke to the media with crucial information regarding Siddharth's suicide. He said that violence by SFI was common in the college and hostel and CCTV had been installed to prevent it. SFI workers took away the cameras. He said that it was common for first-year students to put up a picture of Che Guevara in their room and shout slogans. He also said that there was a torture room in the hostel.
