THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Jayaprakash, the father of J S Siddharthan of Pookode University, has now come forward alleging the state government's attempt to topple the CBI investigation into his son’s mysterious death.

“I will surely conduct a sit-in protest in front of Cliff House in Thiruvananthapuram. My son was brutally tortured for eight months, that too without clothes. I am not saying this; the anti-ragging squad report is there for everyone to read. Even two girls enjoyed watching the seniors torturing my son. The police didn’t even care to arrest or question them.

They should also check how many times SFI state secretary Arsho visited the college. Even my son revealed to me that Arsho frequently visited the college. So definitely he was aware of what was transpiring for the last eight months in the hostel. I seriously doubt Arsho’s role in my son’s murder” said Jayaprakash.

It was on February 18th at 1 pm, that J S Siddharthan, a Nedumangad native was found dead inside the hostel restroom.
