Blessy - Prithiviraj’s ‘Aadujeevitham-The Goat Life’ is receiving acclaim ever since it hit the theatres. The film released worldwide two weeks ago. The film directed by Blessy is based on Benyamin's novel Aadujeevitham. The movie narrates the life of Najeeb, a native of Ambalapuzha.

The audience are praising Blessy for his direction and the acting of Prithviraj. Prithviraj is being congratulated for his physical transformation to play Najeeb. The fans said they cannot imagine anyone else replacing Prithviraj as Najeeb. Blessy had put aside his sixteen years for this film.

Meantime, director Lal Jose in an interview said that he was supposed to do ‘Aadujeevitham’ and that Prithviraj was not seen as the hero.

Lal Jose’ words
After reading Benyamin's novel Aadujeevitham, had visited and informed him my interest in making the novel into a film. Benyamin was happy hearing this. There would have been date problems if a superstar was considered for the film for so long. Not only that making changes to the body would have been difficult. So, intended to cast a fresh face. Had in mind one from Delhi School of Drama.

In the meantime, news came in a magazine saying that I am making this novel into a film. Soon got a call from Blessy. He asked me if I had gone too far and if not, asked me to give it to him. He told me that it resembled the script that took him a year to write. I later realized that Benyamin wanted Blessy to do the film and so shelved the project.

The film I planned was not like the one released now. I cannot put aside so many years like Blessy for a film. Only he can complete that film with such patience, said Lal Jose.
