Malayalam director Joshiy's house burglarized, Rs one crore allegedly stolen

KOCHI: A robbery has been reported at the residence of veteran Malayalam director Joshiy. It is doubted that the robbery took place during the early Saturday morning hours in Joshiy’s residence situated in Kochi’s Panampilly Nagar. Gold ornaments, expensive watches and a large sum of money estimated to be as big as one crore were looted from the house.

It was only after night 1:30 that director Joshiy went to sleep. So, the preliminary investigation suggests that the robbery took place anywhere between 3 to 4 in the morning. The CCTV visuals also showed the thief wriggling inside the house through the kitchen area.

Ernakulam south police have already reached the residence to start the investigation.
