Anaswara Rajan roped in for Premalu-2

Some days back, during the success celebrations of ‘Premalu’, director Girish AD made the bombshell revelation, saying that a sequel to the movie is now under preparation. Fans have gone in élan over the news ever since. As per the latest news, it is learned that actress Anaswara Rajan will join the Premalu universe in its sequel.

‘Premalu’, the seventh production of Bhavana studios was made on a modest budget of Rs 10 crore but shockingly, the movie amassed a gargantuan Rs 125 crore from the box office.

Minister P. Rajeev, Fahad Fasil, Nazriya, Amal Neerad, Anwar Rasheed, B Unnikrishnan, Antony Perumbavoor, Vijayaraghavan, Dileesh Pothan, Shyam Pushkaran, Unnimaya Prasad and SS Karthikeya were the famed names who attended the success celebrations.

'Premalu' ends on an ambiguous note that shows Naslen’s character leaving for the UK to pursue higher studies. Director Girish AD has assured that the sequel will be more energizing and funny than the first one. Premalu 2 will mostly revolve around Rajasthan.

Premalu-1 which was set in the backdrop of Hyderabad had Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeet Pratap, Altaf Salim, Meenakshi Ravindran and others playing pivotal roles. Most of the characters and technicians will be retained for the sequel of the movie.
