Hurled fried chicken at sister during argument; brother arrested on woman's complaint

FLORIDA: Police have arrested a youth for hurling fried chicken at his sister during an argument. The incident took place in Clearwater City in Florida. The arrested person has been identified as 20-year-old Khanye Edrayieze Medley.

According to the police, the incident took place last Sunday after Medley engaged in an argument with his sister, who was having fried chicken. As the argument between the two intensified, Medley grabbed the chicken from his sister and hurled the chicken pieces at her. One piece of the fried chicken struck the victim in the back and the debris of food was left on her shoulders.

The police arrested Medley on the complaint filed by his sister. During questioning, Medley admitted to throwing two pieces of chicken at his sister, police said. When asked what motivated him to start throwing the chicken at her, Medley claimed he did it because “he had not eaten and did not want the piece of chicken the victim offered him, so he became upset”.

Medley was later booked into the Pinellas County Jail, from where he was released a day later on recognisance.
